Courtesy of Google Map. Now an automobile repair facility (You can tell with the flat bed tow truck with a car on there). Beautiful area! Rinks, take notes! You can make it beautiful with nature and the building itself! Be creative! If you need help, I can help with design and my sister is professional landscaper and my brother is professional carpenter. Just ask!
Peach Tree Skate Rink 285 Clover Reach Peachtree City, GA
Peach Tree Skate Rink was on 285 Clover Reach in Peachtree City, GA for a certain time. Several automobile related repair shops lived in that spot. It is a beautiful spot I tell you because it is surrounded by trees and and nice yard besides it. It was heavily renovated.
Likely it was open in 1995 but short lived because of no information on the net.
UPDATE: Thanks to Mark Carpenter who was partners with Rink Management and Monty Weatherup who established one of 13 rinks including this rink.
Here is what Mark has to say--
It was built by Monty Weatherup of Brooks, Georgia initially they were all built and leased out to a company called Rink Management. The owner went belly up and got in trouble by the IRS for tax fraud/evasion he disappeared and left Monty holding the bag. Over the next few years he was able to sell all but Griffin Skate Inn and Savannah Skate Inn and that’s how we operated for several years after that.
More in next email from him-
Monty built and operated this rink himself it was built it 1995 for 1.5 million at the time we were all partners Savannah Skate Inn griffin Skate Inn and peach tree skate. Sold in 2002
A new rink opened down the road in Newnan and that was pretty much it for it
