Pastime Club 118 East Third Street, Perrysburg, OH. According to a member of a group on Facebook for roller rinks in Ohio, he said this was a newspaper ad May 11th 1934 however, the ad looks too new, too sharp, no bleeds, and the color of the paper that it looked more like recent phone book than a newspaper. To my humble opinion, its a phone book unless I see more proof such as where he got it from. What newspaper? Source: Remembering Ohio Roller Skating Rinks of the Past and Present Facebook group.

Pastime Club 118 East Third Street, Perrysburg, Ohio. This is an interesting case here because of the advertisement seen in the Facebook group, Remembering Ohio Roller Skating Rinks of the Past and Present. The person who posted this photograph of an ad showed it was in a newspaper May 11, 1934. In the height of the Great Depression. No newspaper was mentioned (name of the paper). But when I look at the photograph, the whole thing looked off. Newspapers would have bleeds, blots in black fonts and lines (please see any other profiles in Dead Rinks website and you will see some are in original state and others I fixed it to clean up. This is too perfect for a newspaper in 1934 that brings a question if it is authentic or not. Second of all, first before I read the post, I thought that was an advertisement in the phone book! Phone books had ads like that in my lifetime (By the way, I am still 56 young and handsome gentleman, thank you very much). The color of paper.. looked more like a phone book. Anyone else can verify this ad?
There are no photographs I can find at the moment for this rink. USGS was no help this time as their oldest was the mot blurred! It was not any good.
Again, anything about this rink? Apparently either a fire or was torn down because a new building was built in 1986 as Loop Net (both of them) has a Modern Colonial house-like office building today on the very same spot with a C-shape floor plan.
