Palace Roller Skating Center 11586 Roosevelt Blvd, Philadelphia, PA. Looking at 2 stories here. Upstairs is private party room. You can not skate upstairs. I believe you have to take them off before ou go upstairs. On lower floor, it is Concession stand, and soda machines. The appearance reminds you of 1950s grocery stores. No, this is a roller rink, folks. This is currently the Philly Skate Plex. Source: Google.

Palace Roller Skating Center 11586 Roosevelt Blvd, Philadelphia, PA. Concession stand and eating area. I believe this was before the remodel because of the colors on the wall. This is currently the Philly Skate Plex. Source: Google.
Palace Roller Skating Center 11586 Roosevelt Blvd, Philadelphia, PA. This is not the eating area because the concession stands in this picture is way off toward up front front. This is viewing toward the front from the arcade. Quite a bit of benches and dinette booths. I believe this rink has the most booths and benches I ever seen. That is good so that many can have a place to sit after skating for 2 hours! This is currently the Philly Skate Plex. Source: Google.

Palace Roller Skating Center 11586 Roosevelt Boulevard, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania was first opened in 1981 and the name was just recently changed in 2021. It is now Philly Skate Plex.
I believe the rink is under new management as of 2021 because of how people commented on both Trip Advisor and Yelp.
This greatly takes away from this facility. The rink is now smaller and more crowded.
The Interior.
33,000 Square Feet of fun in this rink. Originally rink was bigger but the new indoor playground forced to reduce the size of the rink and it made some people uncomfortable with the idea of less space to skate according to comments on business/tourism websites including Yelp and Trip Advisor.
This means the rink floor was quite big. I would love to see old photographs to be posted on here without that new playstation.
Because of massive size, likely the floor length could have been longer than 200 Feet but the reduction may have gone down to around 170 Feet long? I do not know. I need verification for the dimensions.
The original appearance I do not know but the new updated really made it so modern with a lot of Black Lights that reflex off cameras with digitalized look of lights on the "Ice Rink White" floor in some photographs. I assume the floor is painted in that color.
The Exterior.
It is a very modern looking but basic building with several materials. The front of the building looks futuristic. Bricks (currently painted White), with the dividers of the walls to point where the main front doors are. But they may have added a 1980s style Canopy later on. It appeared to be mismatched to the futuristic looking front. This should be classified as 1970s Post-Googie Contemporary look. As for the canopy, it is Royal Blue when it was under the original name, the Palace Roller Skating Center.
On the sides are two materials common seen at other rinks-- Cinderblocks base half wall plus Steel-walled sheets and the sheets are in close to Tera Cotta Clay tile colors.
I do not have any newer ones to show in 2022 as it is already half way through the year. For sure Google will show new ones and I am curious what canopy color it will be like with new name.
I love the landscaping. Very decorative. Flower bed, a couple of destinative trees there including

Rinks that are closed are considered dead. Rinks that are/were sold and with new management names new name(s), the former are considered dead. Previous operating rink that closed but came back years later, are considered dead because the reopening is considered rebooted, nothing to do with the former.
As for “For Office Only” is for my reasoning and private legal reason for that.
