Courtesy of New Spot Roller Rink Facebook page. It was quite different back then. And was called Salt Lick Roller Rink at the time. Likely taken in 1961. Was this a different location? I will need proper address.
Courtesy of New Spot Roller Rink Facebook page. This appeared to be taken in mid- to late 1970s to mid-1980s because of the hairdo this girl wearing a white blouse skating by herself. Either a Farrah or a feathered hairdo. Also the gentlemen skating near the wall with style that feels 1980s to me. There are no bell bottoms so all pointed to 1980s. Mullets too!

This special rink ran for 51 years. All at Salt Lick Roller Rink / New Spot Roller Rink on 10803 E Highway 60 in Salt Lick, Kentucky. They began in October 16, 1961.
I believe the new owners, Sabrina and her husband assumed operations in 2007 and they closed for good in August 24, 2012 according to Facebook. But in 1977, Rita McKinze was the one operating the rink according to Dun and Bradstreet.
Likely Salt Lick Roller Rink ran from 1961 to 1977 when Rita McKinze assumed operations and renamed the rink as New Spot Roller rink.
The Interior.
The floor was Concrete. It was surrounded by wood panel sheet walls which was popular in 1950s to 1970s. It had very low ceiling though with white panel ceiling.
The Exterior.
The original roof was an Segmental Arch. Of course, it was Cinderblocks walled warehouse like building with Free-Span Steel Truss which was likely a Bow Arch Truss which gave the reason for the ceiling which remained the same for it becoming Gable. Did they had to replace the roof? Damages? What? Anyone knows?
The new building was built in 1987.
The new building roof was Gabled.
