New Image Roller Dome, 3116 Lawndale Drive, Endwell, New York
This rink was actually a renamed rink but under new management, this time is the second Chuck named Charles Pettus. His history was very unique. He was one of the first blacks to work for IBM after earning his Bachelor's Degree from University of Pittsburgh and his Master's in SUNY Binghamton. He was a professional engineer and worked for IBM as a physics. His passion was music besides skating and was involved with three bands, IBM Band, Maine Community Band, and Southern Tier Concert Band. A well-rounded gentleman who loves kids. Perhaps this is why he purchased the rink from the Crandalls (See Endwell arena page). This was his way of giving back to the community.
Chuck operated his rink, New Image Roller Dome from 1985 to its dissolution was on July 25, 2008.
Clearly it was a year gap for Endwell not to have a skating rink at that location.
In 2015, the rink building was demolished likely due to the flooding damages. The dealership? that was there from 2008 till 2015 likely relocated or out of business.
