Courtesy of Max Moose Madorin's family. Loose as a Moose Moose cartoon skate jam in this drawing. Looked like a program booklet.
Below- Courtesy of Google Map. The building as it looks today. Perhaps a paint job made the difference than the original.

Old newspaper article courtesy of daughter of Moose Madorin. Sorry for the photo is a little blur and hard to read the article but read online articles found in sources on bottom of this page.
Moose's Rollarena 1703 C Ave., Vinton, IA
Vinton Skate and Activity Center 1703 C Ave., Vinton, IA (Still operational)
Moose's Rollarena was built by Max "Moose" Madorin and opened on Saturday December 4, 1982. he operated it till his retirement and sold to the Vinton (IA) Parks and Recreation Department in 1999. He passed away in 2009.
This rink was named after the nickname of Max, "Moose".
The Interior.
I have no idea what Moose had for his rink interior. But the Vinton Park and Recreation had it done with Snow White walls and Half-walls rails however have Forest Green top of half-walls. This makes the facility looks clean and sterile. Even right down to the poured concrete floor painted with Tan urethane coated floor. I like the interior design because it does look clean and refreshing because many rinks with murals are quite busy. I am just glad there are some rinks like this one that stayed minimalist style-wise.
The Exterior.
As seen from Google Map, the building looked so much like a church building. It was designed by Herb McNeil modeled after a local church. What Moose did was checked out other rinks and even counted the cinderblocks for dimensions of those competing rinks. He became friends with owners and managements of other rinks and asked for ideas. As result was this rink. Tan colored. There is a sign that looked very much 1970s in early 1980s that was made for Moose's Rollarena.
Originally, it was natural stained wood walls, and blocks as I can tell in this newspaper clipping photograph posted on Moose's daughter's Facebook page.
