Miami Skateland 58251 East 100 Rd, Miami, OK
In 1998, Miami Skateland began on 58251 East 100 Road, Miami, Oklahoma. This rink mysteriously disappeared as I checked on Google Map. I found only a shed there. But it was demolished. The shed was shown from aerial view however, the ground view by mapper going by showed it was empty before a new built that would fit the size of a rink but it is a warehouse now. A building cross the street on the side is gone too. Did a tornado hit through that path where the rink was? It was possible because of the building next/cross the street on Eastgate Road. Just an educated guess but not sure.
UPDATE! -- 28 February 2022.
OK, I got an update! Someone by the name of S.T. wrote me a bit about it and this helps a bit as well. This is what she has to say--
I found your post about the rink and how it vanished one day.
It used to be on highway 10 past the Steve Owens bridge around Eastgate Plaza. I used to come here all the time as a kid from 2000 to 2004.
We had a historic flood here in 2007 and the rink (as well as The Harbor homeless shelter right across from it) were heavily damaged. It was demolished in 2008. (Oh man! That is bad.. especially the shelter. I hope they have built a new one or replace it somewhere).
They've been insinuating for years now that it's coming back, but things never get off the ground.
I hope this answers your questions .

Wow, thank you for the information. So, it was 2007 with the flood and demolished a year later. I sure hope the shelter was replaced. Everyone there was homeless after the flood and I pray all got new home built or repaired.
Hmm, I still could not find it on the map! I got the address off of one of those lists as it was on 58251 East 100 Rd, Miami, OK but this nice lady, S.T. said it was on Highway 10. I found it. It meets with US Route 66--the mother road. The bridge she said is on the river. Nothing is shown on there with Google Map 2008. Yes, it says March but did it demolish before that? Of course, a lot of homes were demolished due to flooding because of dangerous black mold.
