Lazer Zone Family Fun Center 14601 Country Road 3544, Ada, OK. The entrance is sort of off of the main road Google Mapper drove. He did not drive on the side road that leads to the LZFFC apparently. Because that is where the big sign is. Google Mapper, back to school you go! Just kidding. Please use your common sense, mapper. Source: Google.

Lazer Zone Family Fun Center 14601 Country Road 3544, Ada, OK. The huge sign showing very 1950s Vegas style retro look. One of best design for a um.. well, former rink although nothing it says "Roller Skating" on it. It may have when it first opened. Likely it was on top row in Yellow bar with the words, "Batting Cages - Mini Golf" are. Source: Google.

Lazer Zone Family Fun Center 14601 Country Road 3544, Ada, OK. The admission counter booth. Huge one! Very open! I can see why they prefer not to open because of COVID requires a shield. No kidding. What an irony that they have a hand sanitizer right on the post on the left side of this photo! Source: LZFFC on Facebook.
Lazer Zone Family Fun Center 14601 Country Road 3544, Ada, OK. Whoa, am I in a convention center or a hotel? Nope, it is LZFFC! It is a party room. Very professional ballrooms I must say! I love it! Very convention center/hotel ballroom like. Source: Google.
Lazer Zone Family Fun Center 14601 Country Road 3544, Ada, OK. Bowling. This section is very open to center of the complex and only one because others such as mini-golf and laser tag games you have to enter a door to have fun. Those compartments are glow-in-dark. But bowling, they have it all light up and sometimes, black light bowling (Cosmic Bowling they are called). I love the graphics on both sides of the bowling but not thrilled with the bland like above the pins. Noticed the colors are not matchable? Totally different hues. Source: Google.
Lazer Zone Family Fun Center 14601 Country Road 3544, Ada, OK. Splat Shak. Ok, Splat is their mascot from another planet who settled in this town and running this FEC. Anyway, that alien character's name is Splat and this is a snack bar really. It has a silly story on the website. See here. Source: Google and LZFFC.

Lazer Zone Family Fun Center 14601 Country Road 3544, Ada, OK. This is the 8th hole for the Glow-in-The-Dark mini-Golf. Hmm, with my one blind eye, I have hard time seeing as it does bother me with black-light. This would bother me. Glad I can see it with photographs. Beautiful art work though! Someone really did a good job on this one! I can tell where the ceiling line is. Maybe they could have and should have painted the ceiling as well. If Michelangelo did the Sistine Chapel, this artist can do the same too. And the same with the floor to help more for making paths to putt the ball. I can not tell in this photograph the outline of eighth hole. Hey Jack, wanna go mini-golf with me here? Yes, the Bear is whom I am asking. Source: Google.
Lazer Zone Family Fun Center 14601 Country Road 3544, Ada, OK. More of Mini-Golf. What hole is this? I cannot see. Source: Google.
Lazer Zone Family Fun Center 14601 Country Road 3544, Ada, OK. More of Mini-Golf. What hole is this? Oh yes, third hole. Does that mean I putt from that square on the floor and go all the way through that tunnel? I cannot see. If the Bear is not coming, how about you, Tiger? Hahaha. Source: Google.
Lazer Zone Family Fun Center 14601 Country Road 3544, Ada, OK. More of Mini-Golf. What hole is this? If not Tiger, how about the Shark? Oh dang, no one is coming to mini-golf with me! Haha. The Bear and the Shark are retired, Tiger is.. recovering this year. Source: Google.
Lazer Zone Family Fun Center 14601 Country Road 3544, Ada, OK. Wow, another convention center-style ballroom. Very professional. But.. too Spanish Yellow with Caribbean Red. If more of Earth tone colors, you would get more different kinds of parties even wedding receptions. Yes, think of that. Source: Google.
Lazer Zone Family Fun Center 14601 Country Road 3544, Ada, OK. Prizes! Hmm! I see they are quite different than any rinks prize store has. This one is quite different because of a lot of globes they have. This makes this place stood out differently than most rinks I have seen in my Dead-Rinks career so far. Source: Google.
Lazer Zone Family Fun Center 14601 Country Road 3544, Ada, OK. Newspaper article announcing opening the new LZFFC. Very detailed in this article and thanks to this, it really helps to make this profile. Unfortunately, I do not know when they took out the rink. Everything else stays there since. Hmm. NOT FAIR! Boohoo (crying). Source: Chickasaw Times, January 2005 issue.
Lazer Zone Family Fun Center 14601 Country Road 3544, Ada, OK
Lazer Zone Family Fun Center is still located at 14601 Country Road 3544, Ada, Oklahoma. It is just that they got rid of the roller rink and focus on other entertainment. It is a full scale entertainment center or known as FEC-- Family Entertainment Center. This means many compartments of different entertainment activities are presented. Lazer Zone Family Fun Center first opened on Friday December 10, 2004. That date, they included the roller rink opened along with an arcade, laser tag game, and bowling.
I do not know when they dropped the roller rink and replaced with likely batting cages thanks to this article I read in Chickasaw Times I am sure many skaters were upset that this entertainment center stopped having a rink there. Besides, there is a competitor still active in the same town that is just a roller rink focused. It is Star Skate that is still operational today. Like David in the Bible who slingshot killing the giant named Goliath as said in 1 Samuel 17:49. Star Skate is like David, Lazer Zone is like the Goliath. In business sense.
It is so because of the size. Lazer Zone is 60,000 Square Feet!
This FEC is operated by Chickasaw Nation. Hey Native American nations, please consider opening a FEC WITH a roller rink! Hey Chickasaw Nation, please bring back the roller rink! You hear that, Oneidas? We do not want the casinos! Let's do this one!
It is Violet instead of the traditional Royal Blue for the name and address above because LZFFC is still operational however, they do NOT have the roller rink. They took it out sometimes after 2005 but before 2016 based on Google Images. Anyone has photographs of the rink? Please let me know. Thanks!
The Interior.
I do not know what it was like the roller rink. I do not see photographs for that because I see many updated looks and features and activities other than roller rink. Of course, they first opened having the roller rink. Now it is mini golf, batting cages, arcades, Convention center/hotel-like ballrooms, bowling, and of course, laser tag games. All housed in a huge 60,000 Square Feet! It has sort of a Chevron floor plan that is large.
The roller rink floor itself was just about 1/6th of the entire facility. 10,500 Square Feet. That is leaning toward to a small rink size.
Laser tag had 5,000 Square Feet. The Arcade has 5,000 Square Feet with 70 video and table games.
The Exterior.
This facility has very stylish yet modern mix with some rustic look on it. Yes, the front canopy reminds you and me of a certain sporting and outdoors store/dealer. Very similar architectural design with that canopy with Hip roof design. Green roof with Rustic Dark Stain wood. But the rest of the place in sort of a Chevron floorplan. The frontage appeared like a shopping mall or plaza with the 2000s theme look. With a little throwback to 1980s look too.
It is attractive building which is a must for any in town and especially out of town to see how impressive this facility is. It does to me if I was a tourist coming in and enjoy my day there. Unfortunately, without a rink, I may not go. But for any families traveling in such distance, after the entertainment, they can get gas right next door. This sound familiar.
