La Rose Garden Rink US Route 209, Lehighton, PA
La Rose Garden Rink was on US Route 209 in Lehighton, Pennsylvania. One thing though, this rink had a very broad description of where it was and back then people tend to know where places were without the need of street number. I found at least FOUR items related to this rink without street lot number. You know what I mean.
One information did describe on its basic map where the rink was. So, I attempted to use Google Map to say where the exchange was and measure a mile. I had to guess based on the maps both from the basic and the Google. I ended up with this location where the former Jimmy Gym's was. Was that the location where the rink was? This would be 1055 Interchange Road in Lehighton, Pennsylvania. But that would be close to the other La Rose Skating Rink which is operational or is it? That La Rose Skating Rink's name spelled a slight difference so this might be another skating rink that was owned by the La Rose family.
However, Google Maps said the La Rose Skating Rink is at 3498 Interchange Road. It would be another mile and quarter away from the former Jimmy's Gym, or 2.25 miles from the pinpoint according to the flyer with the map. Any one know about this La Rose Gardens? This is different name but was it really the same one as La Rose Skating Rink as a name change? Please help. I do not see any email contact for La Rose Skating Rink. One thing though about that rink, It is one of the oldest. And it is about to be 100 years old! That rink is a must see! Will have to profile it. That is why it is listed. Has rich rink history after all! Dozens of dozens of photographs! Really. It may be a sister rink but not sure. I will update this.

Dead Rinks is now International Roller Skating Rinks History Foundation© because many former names have become new names at the same rinks that are still active and due to much confusion, We have decided that International Roller Skating Rinks History Foundation© fits better for all rinks including defunct, closed, inactive, rebooted, and rinks that are still active today. For short on this site, it is International Roller Skating Rinks History© Bear with us as we change the entire site page by page each day. Thank you for understanding.
Second of all: The contents including words and photos above on this page and/or on any pages are purely educational entertainment purposes only. Rinks that are closed are considered dead. Rinks that are/were sold and with new management names new name(s), the former are considered dead. Previous operating rink that closed but came back years later, are considered dead because the reopening is considered rebooted, nothing to do with the former. Since we are rebooted to allow alive rinks, active rinks, we welcome those active rinks as well. It will be described.
As for “For Office Only” is for my reasoning and private legal reason for that.
