Josey Skateland was a roller rink before it is now a church on 2711 Cookscreek Plaza in Carrollton, Texas. The church in question now is Ciudad de Esperanza Iglesia Cristiana (Translating from Spanish: City of Hope Christian Church).
But before people are praising, it was skaters who had a ball listening to music while skating a beautiful Non-painted Polyurethane coated Hardwood Maple with Log Cabin layout.
According to Corporate Wiki, Josey Skateland, Inc. filed as a Domestic For-Profit Corporation in the State of Texas on Monday, 04 June 1973. It was opened during that year but closed sometimes in 1980s.
Luther Bernstein owned this rink as he did with Big Wheel Skate Land. Also a few other still active rinks.
The Interior.
A beautiful Non-painted Polyurethane coated Hardwood Maple with Log Cabin layout. Thanks to the photos of skaters who were part of the Speed team, I believe.
The Exterior.
The exterior is quite similar to Big Wheel Skate Land. The way the Steel Trusses are exposed on the outside. Some rinks have this concept with Cinderblocks walls.
