Only visual evidence of Jo-Don-Ce Amusement Palace. It was a poster advertisement perhaps posted in stores, restaurants, and maybe even in the rink and newspapers (of course, in Black-and-White).
Bottom two courtesy of Google Map. Noticed changes? Yes, canopy added, 3 small windows taken out, new windows, and of course, paint job. Taken in 2012 and 2019 respectively. Yes, I see the sun shades are very similar. May 2012 and July 2019 are similar on how sun shine because of June is highest peak of sunshine of the year.

Joe, Don, and Cecil Whelan began Jo-Don-Ce Amusement Palace which was on 2410 Main Street in Great Bend, Kansas. The rink later became Skating Rink of Great Bend or as known as Great Bend Skating Rink.
The name was rather unusual for the Whalens to come up but being creative I supposed. The combination of their first name as Jo-Don-Ce which stands for Joe-Don-Cecil. What rather more unusual was their chosen name for the rink as "Amusement" rather than "roller" or "Skating" with "Palace." This made this rink more of stands out than the rest of the very common rink names back the day. Today rinks have too much common with names like Skateland or Rollerland or whatever. Too much.
So, this truly stood out.
There are no other information I could find except for that giant poster on many websites. Your information will be helpful for both rink names.

it has that D-Arched-Curved roof Free-Span Steel Truss Cinderblock-Walled Storefront - like Building. The front wall is a faux roof design. It showed a step roof design but it hides the D-Roof Arched-Curved design.
The original was so different than the current one that looked more like a Ponderosa wanna-be. But back then had true 1910s-1920s architectural style. An Art Deco Prototypical style. There were no awning side to side on front but a small rounded canopy above the front door. It had windows.
Original color is unknown. In later years, as a different business, it shows White paint then Tan paint.
