Courtesy of Google Map. Noticed it is dated in 2013? Good capture before they updated! However, too late to take pic of the old rink before that date! Oh well! It is renovated and expanded in the rear. Noticed the roof pitch is quite different between those two? The rink was the one up front of the then constructing building behind it. Next door you see its red is not a pizza restaurant. It is a gas station.
Rolling Wheels, 730 15TH Street, Prairie Du Sac, WI
(Also known as) Jan & Dean's Rolling Wheels, 730 15th Street, Prairie Du Sac, WI
Jan & Dean's Rolling Wheels or known as Rolling Wheels were in business for sometime but there are not much information found online for me to do. Quite clearly it was operational from 1991 to 2005 because it was sold that year to a developer who converted to several business offices according to an article in May 2012. And Dean's Obituary. Dean passed away in 2017.
Also Google Map showed in 2013 that it was newly renovated with new paved parking lot and lawn. Thanks to Google Map that helps to preserve ancient history.
The only recreation I would say is a fitness center which was the first tenant there and there is currently a contractor's office and others housed in that former rink.
Any one has photos of former rink? Any specific dates of open and closed? I would appreciate it! Thank you!
