Logo courtesy of Izzy-Dorry's. Photo courtesy of Izzy-Dorry's Facebook fan page. Noticed the pair of skates in very cartoonish with eyes shut and bowties. Similar to a rink in upstate NY that has just one skate with eyes up front like that but no bowties. Very similar to the one on the right in the photo above.
Photo courtesy of Izzy-Dorry's Facebook Fan page. You will noticed the renovation to the times of the late 1980s/early 1990s with that then popular Miami-Vice Miami Pink and Tea/Tron Torqouise colors with white background. This renovation was done for New Ulm Rollerdome.
Photo courtesy of Izzy-Dorry's Rinks Facebook Fan page. This apparently taken in late 1980s before it became New Ulm Rollerdome because of the older photograph here with 1980s film texture plus you noticed it is the original walls! And it was late 1980s because of this skater skating backward with his in-line skates shown above on the left! And a couple of skaters with in-line skates on the right and middle two. Noticed how they both skated in comparison of in-line and quad moves? Big difference. Thanks to this photo!

Those three were under same location and just name changes or ownership. They were located at New Ulm, Minnesota and sadly, it is now a fitness center. It is common that rinks become fitness center (or others, churches for "spiritual fitness."
Well, this rink was in business for sometime. I do not have any dates of open or closure even for any of those three. Or in that order either. Which came first? Second? Third? For sure those two are related but just change the name a little bit.
It was a Free Span Steel Warehouse Building with Gable roof. It has quite interesting Americana on their property. It is two quite over-sized arrows staked into the ground. It was perhaps a landmark to pinpoint where Izzy's used to be. This is rather unusual because it is far off from Route 66 or Route 20, both are historic route I recommend you to travel on if you want to go see awesome Americana stuff. Well, this is for Minnesota that travelers can go see. See photo. it is still there as I am sure new owner of the fitness center wants to leave it as it is Americana landmark.
I recommend you go see those arrows if you are going off of your road trips. And see what the building is like in person. Google took picture of this in 2008 which gave very poor quality of photograph. Were they using old film? Hahaha.
The interior was remodeled. Originally, it had that popular 60s wood panels that were all over the walls and it was rather dark there. What more interesting that the ceiling was in hut-like that the paneling were on angle all around then flat ceiling on top. They had those flickering strings on the ceiling. Those were very common in early 20th Century.
Then they remodeled it by removing those wood panel for painted walls. It had some lines on the wall.
The rink itself was wood. Likely Maple. But the layout I am not sure because photographs were in 1980s and the quality of those photographs were not excellent.
Description and better photographs would be appreciated.
