Courtesy of Loopnet. This site was up for sale again in 2018. Now the listing is gone! Good thing I captured some info. But I wanted to add more. Oh well!

HP&L's Palace, 6016 Old Congress Rd., Lantana, FL
Not to be confused with the other Palace in another area. Likely same management. This one however, opened in 1983 after it was built that year on Old Congress Road. The frontage was different than what you see today since it is converted to a shopping plaza. But the evidence remains.
The building was build and opened in 1983 and 1986 respectively by Hurley Hankey who managed the rink as well. He filed as incorporated in April 17, 1986 which means the rink was opened that year until its demise in 2007. The actual closure is unknown. This apparently ran for 20 years.
The exterior was and still is, modern flat roofed two-toned Tan colored building. After it was closed, apparently, the front was retrofitted with entire windows and doors for a number of stores.
