Courtesy of Google Map. Front side and Front end of the rink. The side with the cars are for the people who lived there as you can see the door beyond the silver colored vehicle in the photo. The two doors on the front side are admission and exit doors. This was common for many rinks in Louisiana that a corner part of the building was desgined for residential section and the other part, the skating rink.

Abbeville Skate Center was located there after House of Wheels were founded by Frank and his wife, Deborah Torres at 1105 North Lafitte Rd, Abbeville, LA.
Something is off. Manta says it was founded in 1999. No way. I know so that Frank Torres began many rinks before that year.
Vanessa R. Lacombe perhaps owned after Frank did. That is according to Bizapedia. She registered it in November 14, 1990. So, that is why Manta is way off. Best source is with the county or city offices where the business is registered.
I do not have any other good sources for this rink at all. Some answers will be unknown till some of you or even the owners of those rinks reach out to me and I will list them.
From what I see on Google Map, it does look abandoned. In 2019, there is an RV parked on the parking lot blocking the front door. One of the 2 glass doors have damages and had black taped to tape over the cracked glass that are still on the door.

Currently seen ever since 2008 Google map that it has white Cinder-blocks and Red Steel-sheet siding.
