This was the former Holy Roller Rink and the current Rocket Skating Plus. However, they had a rink name in between those two when Google took this picture in January 2007. I tried to clean up the name on the banner. Do you know what it said? Source: Google Map.

I believe this is party room space at Rocket Skating Plus. Carpetiles throughout the floor. Mural includes colorful balloons, and Roller Roo holding a piece of cake. Source: Rocket Skating Plus Facebook.
Eating area at Rocket Skating Plus. Um.. Rocket Skating Plus, did you fix that tile on the floor after you took that photo? I hope so! Source: Rocket Skating Plus Facebook.
Rocket Skating Plus 61805 East 315 Road, Grove, Oklahoma. The rink floor. I love the Minimalist appearance of lines and the rink. All compliment with the straight geometric design of the Minimalist feel. Kind of like Cubism is found. Never mind the murals on the wall seen on the left and a little bit on the right. It feels like an art gallery there. A mural art museum. Source: Rocket Skating Plus.
Rocket Skating Plus 61805 East 315 Road, Grove, Oklahoma. The rink floor. I love the new look! Really beautiful! I am going to swim in there.. er, no, wait! To skate on that floor! Yes, I made that joke because the floor is excellent redone with a coat of an urethane which can make it shining like it is a swimming pool but it is not. It is a roller rink on a Concrete Gray color. It does look like the waves on the floor when you can see how the light reflex. it is all concrete, not water! Good job! Rocket Skating Plus 61805 East 315 Road, Grove, Oklahoma. The eating area. Looks like Halloween party was planned that day when someone took this picture. I love the carpet! Shooting Stars theme. All beautiful. Source: Rocket Skating Plus/Patti & Greg Combow Collection.
Rocket Skating Plus 61805 East 315 Road, Grove, Oklahoma. The party area, after the remodeled. Beautiful, very updated, professional. Very detailed. Source: Rocket Skating Plus/Patti & Greg Combow Collection.
Rocket Skating Plus 61805 East 315 Road, Grove, Oklahoma. Oh this is what Dr. Smith would say when he see that creature, "Oh the pain, the pain!" Yes, the mural reminds me of a Lost in Space in 1950s perspectivism. This is even better looking than the campy TV series and the twisted Netflix version. Why I said that, those two--the man and the boy shooting their laser guns at a Pterodactyl or even recently discovered Ambopteryx -like creature from a planet far away. It made sense. I love this mural compared to the old. It really gave an impression this rink and the owners are truly professionals knowing they run a good rink. I love the carpet too! All beautiful. Rocket Skating Plus 61805 East 315 Road, Grove, Oklahoma. The concession stand. This time bit brighter. I like the counter wall. It has that hieroglyphics -feel to it, space version. Source: Rocket Skating Plus/Patti & Creg Combow Collection.

Holy Roller Skating Rink was once operational for a time at 61805 East 315 Road, Grove, Oklahoma before it became Rocket Skating Plus which is still operational. It was 2005 start up for Holy Roller Skating Rink before it became Rocket Skating Plus. To me, it sounded like the Holy Roller Skating Rink was a Christian Rink. This is not the only Christian rink in Oklahoma to change from Christian to space themed roller skating rink and I wonder why.
David Burnett began Holy Roller Rink.
When I saw Google Map, it showed different name something Den Roller Rink. Since Google Map in 2007 to 2009 used poor quality cameras, I was unable to read what it said about the name on this vinyl banner, Anyone know about this? Please let me know. When you inform me, this will be updated. I appreciate it.
Currently, Patti & Greg operating Rocket Skating Plus roller rink. They are kind to send me photographs to show the updates. I still want to know what was that old name on the sign that is shown on Google Map! Ha ha.
The Interior.
It is a very basic design interior with simple murals of a kangaroo mascot, colorful balloons. It is very basic compared to other rinks' murals. It also featured, I believe it is a church on the wall and trees and things like that. On the rink part, the wall showed skaters skating and waves and different things on the wall. To me, it does feel like a...daycare center there. But it is fused with modern Black-and-White clean lines. It feels mixed to me. I am in pretty good mood writing profiles but when I saw this.. those mixes.. I am not sure. I love the trend that they have blocks of colors. That would have work best. Since they have new Carpetiles, use those.
The style on the rails, walls, they are too similar to the Roller Dome Skating Rink in Coffeyville, Kansas that is a stable for 70 years. Similar rails, similar style murals. Some seemly better. Was this the same owner? Its possible.
The new version really totally updated. Looked so professional. Those murals on the wall are so beautiful! Space theme. One area showed a man and a boy shooting a 1950s style laser gun at a creature on an other planet. That gave me the thought of Lost in Space especially original series with the Late Jonathan Harris starring Dr. Smith and Billy Mumy and Guy Williams and others. In that mural, the equal counterparts would be none other than the Professior John Robinson and his son, Will Robinson.
