Courtesy of Google Map. Photoshopped by Mark Falso to enhanced photo for better view. This is taken in July 2008. Already 7 years after the rink was closed. I do not have any older photos. Anyone? By the way, the building has improved its appearance by painting in Common Fast Food Restaurant Red (same as McD, BK, Wendys, Arby's, etc).

Haleyville Bowling & Skating 1818 21st street, Haleyville, AL
Haleyville Bowling & Skating was located in the last century before a hardware store took the spot on 1818 21st street, Haleyville, AL. The dual entertainment was established in 1993 but folded in around 2000 or 2001 when Rowe Building Supply took the spot. It did not last long for the bowling and roller rink.
Since this was a short lived rink and bowling center and I have no other information. This is quite difficult to work on. From what I see in photos on Google Map. Likely they housed in two separate buildings. One for bowling, the other roller rink because of the necessary size of both complex. It was not just the building supply store, it was the plaza like building next to it. You will see on the right in the photo. Likely that was the other part but I am not sure. I have no photos and no evidence of its appearance thus no evidence of its existence except for its name. Only two poor Black-and-White photos. One of a man about to roll a ball and another someone walking away from the lane. Nothing on the roller rink part. None!
Harald Martin owned this complex.
Likely they had 10 or less lanes.
The Interior.
N/A.
The Exterior.
N/A. Only that it is presently a hardware store. I am sure the structure is same or was added on next to it that part has open canopy could have been an outdoor roller rink and bowling inside. Or could have been 2 buildings. But I am not sure. I will need information and verification. So, this is just all red- no information.
