Courtesy of Google Map. See fading sign? Looks like it was bleached for at least ten years and the photo was taken by Google in 2012.
H & P Rollerland 1128 Riverside Bl., Norfolk, NE
Norfolk Rollerland 1128 Riverside Bl., Norfolk, NE
Those two rinks were located at 1128 Riverside Boulevard in Norfolk, Nebraska. I do not have much information. But grabbed a couple. Norfolk Rollerland was founded in 1984. But I have no idea about H & P Rollerland. That one is bit harder to find but plenty of links listing the name and address and that is about it. That is common for most rinks I find that way.
Sorry, no photos of its heydays. But the building still stands and it has converted to add two garage doors on the side. Might be warehouse but there are no names on the building and sign. The sign has been faded but you can still barely make out a roller skate on the lower picture on both side but the Coke Cola sign has faded quickly between 2012 and now because red dye color bleaches.
The Interior.
N/A
The Exterior.
N/A. Only that the current building is Snow White exterior walls with Steel sheets. No names, logos whatsoever on there in the earliest--the 2012 photos. Unfortunately that did not go back further. The name of the rink has seemly erased but left the skate on there and the fading Coke-Cola logo above the name of the rink.
