Lace's 723 Manhattan Avenue, Brooklyn, NY
This was another franchise of Laces or Lace's. It was Greenpoint Roller Palace in Brooklyn. Another rink in Brooklyn. I found the spelling for this rink as "Lace's" because the other Laces are spelled as "Laces." Huge difference in meaning here. Lace's as if a person owns the rink and Laces are shoe laces as in plural.
First it was Meserole Theatre was first operated by the Small & Strausburg circuit. It was later taken over Fox, then Randforce and finally by United Artists, when it was closed in 1978.
It was in the city area along with other buildings on that street, Manhattan Ave in Brooklyn. It did not run very long though. It ran from November 1979 to 1986. After they closed, several drug stores were in that spot until 2014 when Rite Aid closed down and was up for sale for a while and is sold.
However, Google Map only shows the drug store "still in operations" on street level. I think it has been changed though.
The rink was small, quite clearly from the Aeriel view on Google Map. The rink legacy lives on when the rink went out of business because the diamond ball with the round white ceiling was still attached in the drug store (See photos and Scouting NY website.). Many details of the theater still maintained when the drug store was still in business on that site. However, the building is sold, we do not know what will become of and the fate of those beautiful art work inside when it was a theater. The drug store chains were smart to leave details alone as I believe they wanted to have it become national historic site.
Unfortunately, it is demolished as of August 2021.
The Interior.
Greenpoint Roller Palace: The interior is unknown. But the Diamond ball was still hanging when it was sold to Lace's then to Rite Aid store. The roller rink floor is unknow but likely wood.

The Exterior.
Greenpoint Roller Palace: The exterior was a standard classic movie theater in the early 20th Century and it was made of several materials including concrete. Very unique design that I have no words to say and pictures you can tell.

Previous operating rink that closed but came back years later, are considered dead because the reopening is considered rebooted, nothing to do with the former.
