This shows that the 85 feet X 185 feet rink was likely occupied most of the building and after it went out of business, it was renovated splitting into 3 sections of the building and the indoor playgrounds is occupying a third of the place This means much reduced in size. I wish there was a Google Map archives of maps! Would be cool to see before 2011 photo taken above.
Two captures of the closed website on Internet Archives. I was unable to find photos from that site because it would not go back further than 2004. But it did say December 15, 2005 that the Rink is closed for good. The October 2005 was saying they were closed for renovations. This was likely a cover up to delay the closing. Clearly it may has to do with financing and lack of skaters.
Good Times Roller Skating Center, 746 N. Daniel Webster Hwy, Merrimack, NH
This rink had a real good time operating from God knows when until December 15, 2005 but the website for Nuthin' but Good Times playground said 2011 when they reopened as playground only.
Hardly any history here. And no photographs of the rink before it became children play center with bounce-houses and playgrounds indoors with parents resting area and a snack bar. The internet Archives showed that in December 2005 that the rink went out of business. Must be they actually went out of business but reopened a long time later in 2011 opening (according to Nuthin' But Good Times website). That is six years of emptiness. I believe it is entirely different owner and entirely different business but took the name, "Good Times" from the rink's original name. It is totally unrelated.
It is still in business per say but the rink is no longer part of the business and it was renamed as Nuthin' but Good Times.
It is housed in a warehouse that has five garage doors. It is made for industrial warehouse though. Anyway, it is Tan Gable steel sheet warehouse and occupied just one half of the place. The two garage doors are still on that half of the property.
