This is top view seeing the old rink and lounge. Caewood, KY is merely to the right of the photo just before the border with Virginia. North west a bit further is to Harlan, KY.

Gary's Skating Rink and Lounge Bobs Creek, KY
This huge building as you can see in the photo. I know it does not look like much but on YouTube, a videographer who did filming said it was huge. A skater who was there said the something on that same YouTube. He said it was huge. He said it was about 3/4th of that building the skating rink floor. The roof line was increased later for the lounge. Skaters went on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays. Pretty much wall to wall but on that one end, it was concession area.
You walked in the double glass doors on the back at the far end... I've seen the lounge so full they would dancing out in the parking lot... FUN TIMES
The owners of the Skate/Lounge opened the new gas station at the top hill on the new road by the bridge. (I saw that in Google Map. The commenter on YouTube said this.
After they closed, it became a church, retail stores as a plaza. Now it is a storage warehouse.
Not to be confused with Gerry's Roller Rink, an active rink.
The Interior.
Takes about 2/3 of the building as a rink, rest is concession stand and the lounge.
The Exterior.
Half of all 4 walls are red bricks and the other half are Sky Blue Sheet metal walls-- the back sides. But the front where the entrance was are bricks. It also has a canopy. They rose the ceiling/roof for the lounge. Perhaps for concerts.
