Galloway Point came around first before Party Zone Inflatables then came Rocket Roller Rink but the entire time the rink was there was July 11, 1970. It is not clear why the same name of the owner on several website even this place was placed on foreclosured for non-payment on the loan. The defendant who owned the rink was Devona D. Galloway according to forclosure.com. It was put up for auction on July 3, 2012. Then I see it was Party Zone @ Rocket Roller Rink then Rocket Roller Rink because of the names were changed according to Google Map.
However, Satin Wheels was around in 1986. The ownership was different. It was registered on May 28, 1986 so I am trying to fit in where and why it is conflicting with other rinks at the same address and overlapping dates of business. Anyone can answer this one please? The owner at that time under Satin Wheels was Gary A. Mihalik
But my question is why is Galloway still on there as Party Zone and Rocket Roller Rink according to Dun & Bradstreet. Originally I got the name from one of the list from A2 list (see links).
Then it must be name changed when it was sold in auction and different family members must have bought it back. That is normal. I discovered that it was changed hands a few times according to a Yelp commenter.
Current owner of Rocket Roller Rink is Stephanie Mixon.
The Interior.
I have no idea what was the style since 1970s but as Rocket and as Party Zone @ Rocket Roller Rink, the style was very interesting. I would give it an effort for their attempt for interior design. Rarely rinks are not impressive but this is impressive. Besides the exterior looks very clean and trendy, the interior on another hand has some more interesting happening. For instance, the carpet on the floor is not like any other rinks would have their black light neon colors on black. this one has very late 1990s trendy style for its carpet. You will see in a photo. Little busy yes but it looks like a fabric for furniture instead of carpet! Or a shirt! Go figure. They reduced the rink when they started to have inflatables on the rink. I understand they need to make money and attract the little ones. They do have interesting font for Party Zone sign by the inflatables but now it says Rocket Roller Rink.
The Exterior.
Free Span Steel Truss Steel Walled Warehouse Building with Mansard design but at least that is the front section.
The appearance has changed. I do not know what it was like when it was Galloway Poin Roller Rink but as Party Zone, it was Tan Steel walls with Mansard roof in Tera Cotta color. Nice combination of colors. This is perhaps went along with the same style as everyone in Earth tone colors. But now, in popular Blue and White for the Rocket Roller Rink. The parking lot is to the left side.
