Fun World Skate Center 1250 Fairfield N., Beaver Creek, OH. Logo for Fun World Skate Center. Looked very futuristic. The W does not seem to fit correctly with the rest because the rest has boxy look. the W should have been upside down N as seen in the word "Fun" and put together 2 "N" which will work. And that skate.. looked very much like a Hebrew writing. Anyone can translate? I know its supposed to be a logo of a skate. Source: Google Map. 2007.
Fun World Skate Center 3223 Beaver-Vu Dr, Beaver Creek, OH. Sorry for poor quality by Google in 2007. Yes, that old picture Google ever began with. I attempted to find another good one but no available. The logo with the skate looked too much like a Jewish word or symbol/sign. What you think? Anyone can translate what that looked like? I do have a Hebrew Bible written in Hebrew but I could not pinpoint specifically. Please contact me and we can learn. Thank you. Source: Google 2007.

At the address of 3223 Beaver-Vu Drive, Dayton, Ohio was two rinks. First was named after the street, Beaver-Vu. Beaver-Vu Skatearena and after that in 2002, Fun World Skate Center. Both are no longer in operations.
First I see that Beaver-Vu Skatearena originally was located next door at the current Beaver-Vu Bowl, a bowling center with the address as 1250 North Fairfield N Road, Beaver Creek, Ohio. Actually it is behind the bowling alley.
I could not find any information on the Beaver-Vu Skatearena. But seemly more so with Fun World Skate Center. I will need history and photos regarding to those rinks. Really spotty like a Swiss Cheese.
Manta said Fun World Skate Center opened in 2002. That is not too long ago. It is now a dental office. This I am referring to the 3223 Beaver-Vu Drive location.
According to a local history page, Beaver Creek Living, they mentioned about the bowling alley and the roller rink. It apparently was connected as it sounded like. This is what I have from their website--
Beaver-Vu Bowl has been a popular spot for Beavercreek residents especially in the 1970's when a billiard room was added. Original owner Cy Grilliot was a real character who was intimidating by staring down on patrons at his desk until they mustered the courage to ask for his assistance. The reason may have been because of his customers enjoying too many drinks and then those customers rolled the bowling balls down North Fairfield Road after taking those bowling balls out of the building! I can see why after viewing on Google Map. It really is a big downhill on that road. Cross the street currently is a Big Boy Restaurant.
Behind the bowling alley is a dental office complex that was for decades the Beaver-Vu skating rink, the first in the area that didn't offer hardwood flooring.
The walking score was 49 points. This means car dependent that children had to rely on parents to take them to the rink. Scoring may have change because the rink closed some time ago.
Fun World Skate Center went out of business around 2008 to 2010ish. No cars in those 2008 photos but the bowling alley was packed full of cars. If that was the case, it had to be on a Saturday afternoon or Sunday afternoon with the crowd at the bowling alley when Google Mapper took pictures as he drove by at the time.
The Interior.
Said to be non-wood according to Beaver Creek Living, and only one in area not to be wooden. And the first to do so.
The Exterior.
The place was a 19,800 Square Feet Free-Span Steel Trusses Cinderblocks - Walled Warehouse - like Building with Flat roof on a 1.9656 Acre of property. Placed behind the large bowling center that it has 62 lanes, 2 bars, pro-shop, and I am sure billiards hall. But we are focusing on the rink. I believe it was a joint multi-plex entertainment center. But I am not sure.
