Forestview Roller Rink 602 W Main St, Sheffield, PA. This is an interesting interior. You can see the lights. Steel Trusses, and the rink floor where it was shining. The dull part was perhaps where the carpet was. Source: Zillow, Trulia, Realtor, and, Homes.

Forestview Roller Rink 602 W Main St, Sheffield, PA
Forestview Roller Rink was located on 602 W Main Street in Sheffield, Pennsylvania. They were started in 1977. However, I have no further information regarding this rink! Yelpers have reported the rink closed. Date is unknown for the closure.
The building was built in 1900. I do not know what it was before the skating rink in 1977. Maybe it was a roller rink before that. Anyone? Local historians, you know? Please let me know.
The Interior.
The interior was quite interesting. Yes, it has been stripped down however, you can see the outlines of the rink and interesting ceiling. Those lights. I am sure disco lights and ball were there but they are gone. Someone cleaned up and stripped down. That makes it harder for me to figure out what other rooms were for. I can see the main area was for the roller rink. It appeared to be Concrete unless it was Maple. I am not sure. Nice exposed ceiling with the trusses there. comfortable size as it appeared small on the outside. It is good nice size for this town.
The other rooms behind the wall were likely where the concession stand, eating area, birthday area, and skate rentals.
If any of you have photos of the rink before it was stripped down, I would love to see them and post them on here for you.
The Exterior.
The exterior looked very rustic in design. Originally seen in Google Map showing it had canopy over the front door on the left side of the rink facing the main road. It has cinderblocks and the rustic wood on part of the building. The logo was in a circle on the rustic wood part of the building.
The canopy and the side door with deck went missing after 2015 photo.
It is Gabled and has had Steel -Trusses and maybe had wood columns on the rink floor. I am not sure.
The paint is Primer White.. well, WAS because it appeared to be removed.. Wood is rustic.
