Fish Lake Resort (and Campground) Roller Rink, 674 Fish Lake Dr., Mora, MN
This is bit unusual and unique that this resort had a roller rink. It is a resort and campgorunds. What remains at the resort is the building where the roller rink used to be. It was opened around 1943/44 and closed around 1998. Apparently new owners at the Fish Lake Resort.
The rink was in this arched building with likely windows on each side. And the door on the side as well. It sits near the lake. The campground is within feet. The setting is beautiful according to their photo shown on Facebook. The exterior wall has stones and concrete walls but the interior was different. I do not have photos of the rink yet but I do can tell the ceiling was arched as well. It is currently all stain wood giving that campground feel.
Back then when the rink was open, it was just Fish Lake Resort. The naming "& Campground" was added later.
Currently it is Fish Lake Resort Bar & Grill. The awing for the main door is also arched. The exterior
The resort and campground are still operational today but no longer has the rink. Just the bar.
The roof currently is in Log Cabin Red Aluminum sheet roofing. Previously it was that Log Cabin Forest Green roof shingles. The roof was redone in 2014.
The original I have no idea what roof it was.
