Faribault Family Skating, 112 5th St. NE, Faribault, MN
This was once a roller rink in Faribault, Minnesota. It was built in 1984 as a skating rink but I do have not have dates for the closing of the rink. It is now housed as American Legion. What the information I got as Faribault Family Skating even did not say if it was ice or roller rink. But the name sounded more like roller rink. Parking lot is on both side.
The main entrance as you can see in the photo is on right side from the corner of 5th Ave NE and 1st Street NW. it has cinderblocks with some steel sheets and Gable roof. It appeared to be large rink once housed there. It also has an extension part of the building with more pitched Hip roof, the same side as the main doors are up by the corner. I have no idea what floor they used and what it was like inside. Anybody?
It is completely unknown what happened to that rink at all.
