Courtesy of Coldwell Banker. The big area of the entertainment center before it folded in 2008. Noticed the bottom showed they even had a horse barn, or stable behind the rink/skatepark!
Empire Skate Park Inc. 3540 Highway 78, Loganville, GA
Empire Skate Park was more of a skateboard park than a roller rink but it is related because roller skaters and inline skaters use that as well. This was being in doors. It was listed in one of the roller rink lists I uses.
The confusion I see on this real estate website. It must be up for sale years after the skate park/rink was closed. First, Empire Skate Park opened in 2003, after it was incorporated on January 31, 2003 and they closed on 16 May 2008.
They were in likely in one of those two buildings that shared the same address. This property for sale according to Coldwell Banker had more than just the two buildings, they also have two sheds, a residential house and a horse stable ranch (barn). It might have been more than just a Skate Park. It was an entertainment center. Very different than standard entertainment center because they had a skate park and a horse ranch. The residential house was perhaps the owner who owned it and owned the entire complex. No wonder it might have gone out because of the layout I can see that the two commercial warehouse-style buildings kind of blocked where the horse stable is for horse riding. I can see why this place is a bit confusion and the choices they had. Very unusual yes. Unique, OK, yes, but interesting? Interesting to see that this type of entertainment was involved. I love the buildings. Looks great. The cute barn looks great. All are on a very narrow strip of property. Another thing, because of all this, it complicates more. 36,000 Dollars in property taxes! OH! So much for this type. This was based on 2020 figures).
There is not much because their operations ran merely 5 years. Yes, that red barn is still there.
The Interior.
No photos available on the park but from what I see inside of a presently aware of: a warehouse. This warehouse interior shows it was narrow. Now this might be the narrow building behind the front building after all. It has concrete floor.
The Exterior.
Simple White Gabled Steel Walled Steel Free-Span warehouse-like building with front doors in front.
That is not much to say.
