All 5 photos courtesy of Google Map. You can notice they even have a cell tower on the property as means to make extra money for the rink. The bottom four above are to show how sad that tree is in center of the photos.
3 photos courtesy of Century 21.
All 6 Courtesy of Skate World Little Rock on Yelp. Beautiful photos! Nice job SWLR! OK, those are the updated look of the rink. Colorful perspective walls with lines. Zig-Zag carpet. Love the colors of Tan and Red lines with Charcoal Black color on it. Some of it were different. All lines. The entire floor is Carpetiles. I am still waiting for skating rink carpet companies to manufacture black light colors carpetiles, not the roll carpet.
4 photos courtesy of Century 21. See paint pealing. Nice banners on ceiling but I think it should have or could have been facing 90 degrees so that the flow of the breeze from skaters can wave it better. And spread around the entire rink. Not just one line. I noticed the dinettes are set separately enough to meet COVID guidelines which is only temporary.

Eight Wheels Family Skating Center was the name of the rink on 6512 Mabelvale Cut off Road , Little Rock, Arkansas before it became Mabelvale Skate world which is now Skate World Little Rock. The latter two is one and the same still operational. Eight Wheels does not.
While I do not have any information regarding Eight Wheels, all I have are for the Skate World rink. I need to know when it first began, closed or sold to the current rink owners of Skate World. Is the Mabelvale Skate World same owner who changed name to Skate World Little Rock or what?
Rink Time said Skateworld Family Fun Center.. yes, another name! Was first opened in 1972.
It is on the market for 100 days since October 5, 2020 according to Re Max. The price is 425,000 USD (October 5, 2020).
Did the COVID caused this rink lose business along with pre-covid lockdown normal losing business? Who knows.
The Interior.
I do not know what the original interior was like because all found are the updated since 2018 with the new look. Having said, I love the wall art work. It was very similar to what my former boss who ran Dance-n-Skate (Sports-O-Rama) in Mattydale did in 1990 did. The 1 point perspective on the wall that lines points to one location., Well, it differ than Dance-n-Skate by having several point perspective of lines. They are all in Neon colors that would work in black lights and I saw it in several videos made by someone working the skate rental video taping it that it reflex off black lights well. It does give the rink feel of larger in size. It does look large alright. The perspective lines of colors reminds you of Drafting when you do those perspective lines to draw a house or blocks, or something on a drafting table. I vividly recalled drafting of yesteryear with this and CAD still works the same way when you do that especially Solidworks which requires 3D of a project you had to design. I love the wall colors, I love the perspective lines, all that reminded me of drafting and this art really function well to make the place feel large.
What more I love? Oh the owner is a genius! Finally I see a rink at Skate World which is still exhibiting tube lights under benches by the half wall! Not a rink has that and I love that. Maybe at a bar, restaurant, and dimmed establishment would have floor based or foot-based lights to shine. This is great for a rink! Owners, look in this one for alive rink design you can attend and show.
The real estate photos taken from Century 21 (the copyrighted name is very unclear for me to get what it was saying) anyway, the paint on the Sky Blue round table really pealing off and showed its original color of yellow, the very popular color for round tables that was very common and popular at most rinks.
The paint on the wall also were pealing off as you can see by the skate rental. It showed different hue on that part of the wall. Originally Sky Blue (see photo where skate rental is and look below the counter) with the common Navy Ship Gray on there.
Blue round tables and benches, dinette benches... all blue.
The Exterior.
It is Gabled roof Free-Span Steel Truss Cinder-block with steel-Walled Warehouse - like Building. It is on 2 acres of land which is only part of the property you think you see on Google Map. Not really. That open field next door is a separate property.
