Druga’s Roller Palace Beer School Rd (Now as University Blvd), Moon Township, PA
Druga’s Roller Palace Beer School Rd (Now as University Blvd), Moon Township, Pennsylvania. It is currently as 7900 University Boulevard, Coraopolis, Pennsylvania according to Google Map. It is currently #1 Cochran Nissan West Hills. I do not know why the dealer put "#1" as a prefix. All of their dealers they own are ranked number one so it is just a name. It can be a misstatement. Unfortunately. It is even on their building at the former rink location.
Now, this rink was around 1950s to 1960s. It was rather bit unusual spot for this rink. It sits on a hill that had open space under the rink. It might be for floating floor. Maybe they even had Rotunda.
I attempted to find information on open and closure come to unknown. I received an email from Vera who found this rink and send me a line or two plus photos she provided for me.
Anyone has more information, please let me know. Thank you!
The Interior.
Likely they had Floating Maple wood floor. Floating? You can see the exterior photo and it clearly showed it was in fact floating since the rink was on a hill!
The Exterior.
Clearly has to be Bowtied Truss to give this Segmental Arch look and it does look pretty flatting wide building but it was in fact on a hill! It was a floating building built on posts. Free-Span Wood(?) Trusses Bricks - Walled Arena - like Building. It had a lot of windows. The photos are a little difficult to see but I see it had light colored bricks.

Rinks that are closed are considered dead. Rinks that are/were sold and with new management names new name(s), the former are considered dead. Previous operating rink that closed but came back years later, are considered dead because the reopening is considered rebooted, nothing to do with the former.
As for “For Office Only” is for my reasoning and private legal reason for that.
