There was two rinks at the same location at 1099 PA-225, Herndon, PA. They are no longer there.
First was Double R Ranch. Apparently the Double R may be Roller Rink. Roller Rink Ranch. Technically triple R! It was owned and operated by Richard and Shirley Baumert and Reymold and Lois Feger.
When Double R Ranch was up for sale, The Molaros -- Donald and Roberta Molaro purchased the rink and renovated and renamed as The Skatery. They opened to public in November 1988 to a huge success and they operated until 2014, that would less than 23 years.
It was a fact that when the Molaros who operated The Skatery wanted to retire, they sold to another rink operator who then operated way too brief and turned into something else. The posts I saw on Facebook that skaters and parents were quite upset at the operator who bought the place from the Molaros for closing as a rink and turned into something else.
He did not sell the rink but turned to something else. Name will not revealed due to skaters upset and refuse to do business so I am making this profile from those disappointed skaters' view.

Second of all: The contents including words and photos above on this page and/or on any pages are purely educational entertainment purposes only. I provide what information from other websites, skaters, and operators and it may end up with different results between two (or more) sources. It is not our responsible for errors we caused. All sources are shown on each page. All opinions and statements of mine are also stated and are for purely educational entertainment only.
Rinks that are closed are considered dead. Rinks that are/were sold and with new management names new name(s), the former are considered dead. Previous operating rink that closed but came back years later, are considered dead because the reopening is considered rebooted, nothing to do with the former.
As for “For Office Only” is for my reasoning and private legal reason for that.
