Courtesy of Google Map. This is the current Macon Skate Center due to the date. It was Don's. Billboard was real close to the rink. I believe it was part of the same owner who can make money off of having such sign there.
Don's Skate Center, 1301 S Missouri St, Macon, MO
This rink I do not have much information but it was sold in January 2005 to the present owner of the rink and he changed the name to Macon Skate Center. I do not have anything on search other than the owner said he purchased that rink according to his statement on Facebook.
The exterior I can tell looks like a gable roof tan colored warehouse with a house-like front for an admission section and there is a connection to it. Likely the billboard on site is theirs to make extra income. There is a huge grass surrounds the rink property and behind it is an expo center (convention center) All this according to Google Map.
There are no photos of Don's but yes, I have seen the current as Macon Skate Center. But needs Don's. Anyone has exterior and interior photos of the rink when it was Don's? Please let me know at [email protected]. Thank you.
