Both of Google Map. 2007 and 2017.
Donelson Roller Rink 187 Graylynn Drive, Nashville, TN
Donelson Roller Rink was located at 187 Graylynn Drive, Nashville, Tennessee. This was a fairly known rink as I can see on social media talking about it. It was likely opened in 1961 when it was built. I do not have the date of closure.
I do not have the year of registration and opening however, it closed sometimes before 2008 because Google Map has it as Data Concepts, medical company. Anyway, That is all I found about them.
Mr. James Moreland was the owner/operator. Before the rink, he owned the bakery. Plus the properties surrounding that property. (Updated as told by a former floor guard at this rink). He owned and operated the Donelson Roller Rink for over 40 years. He was sometimes called the "Baby Sitter of Donelson" in the 60's, 70's, 80's and some of the 90's.
The current owner purchased it in September, 2006. Before that, it was sold a couple of times according to Realty Trac. However, it may have been sold more times before that.
Here is the timeline for past three transactions--
September 5,2006 -- Sold for 642,000 USD (41 USD per SF)
august 5, 1999 -- Sold for 380,000 USD (24 per SF)
October 12, 1995 -- Sold for 150,000 USD (10 per SF)
That puts it difficulty for me to pinpoint when the rink was operational.
Someone said in a comment on Facebook that it used to be Beckers Bakery before it became skating rink.

It is a Flat Roof, Free-Span Steel Truss Cinderblock-Walled Warehouse - like Building. The door is on the right side when you are standing from the road, but it is a foyer-like on that part as you walk in and you turn 90 degrees left.
It is currently all Dark Gray. It has been like that even before it became a medical center.
