Doc's Roller Review 1733 East Harrisburg Pike, Middletown, PA. 2015 on the left while 2016 is on the right. Why change that good sign on the left to what it is today? I really like the 2015 version, not the newer one but they have their reason I do not know why. Source: Google.

Doc's Roller Review 1733 East Harrisburg Pike, Middletown, PA. 2019. Another view. You can see the sign for the rink was on this side as the malt shop was on the other side. Well after 2016, the malt shop sign was removed and replaced with Doc's sign. Source: Google.

Doc's Family Fun Center 1733 East Harrisburg Pike, Middletown, PA
Doc's Roller Review 1733 East Harrisburg Pike, Middletown, Pennsylvania. This rink with an old name with a very unique name. No other rinks used the word Review. Now, they are Doc's Family Fun Center with a very common name. Of course, most people knew the word review means but the owner/operator decided that name to stand out. I do not blame them for the name because it can be confusing to people with the word review which is commonly means to look over. Now, that is reviewing. It means assessment or examination and the other meaning is criticism. Like a film critic would score how good or bad the film is. Or you review on one of those social media review website such as Trip Advisor or Yelp or even on Facebook.
I believe I understand why it was named. You are skating as you are exploring the next move. Maybe I am wrong.
Now, it has a name that is quite common that many rinks, and non-rinks FEC would be. FEC is Family Entertainment Center.
It is still Doc's but name change.
Charles Yoder was owner and operator for Doc's Roller Review according to Buzzfile. Another website: Dun & Bradstreet confirmed this.
He started the rink in 1991. I have no idea when the change of names occurred or different operator changed it.
The Interior.
The interior showed it has that Roller Hockey Rink feel that it has that Blue RollerCourt/SportsCourt that is set up like a hockey rink. It has that half White walls around and when they have hockey, they set up with goals. The ceiling appears to be showing Bowtie Truss but the exterior shows Mansard with cut offs at each end plus Mixed. Photos should be helpful to understand that.
The Exterior.
The building has two kinds of roofs. One where the rink is has Mansard however, it is not entirely around. It is part Mansard with cut off each end. Plus Gabled. Again, Photos will be helpful.

Dead Rinks is now International Roller Skating Rinks History Foundation© because many former names have become new names at the same rinks that are still active and due to much confusion, We have decided that International Roller Skating Rinks History Foundation© fits better for all rinks including defunct, closed, inactive, rebooted, and rinks that are still active today. For short on this site, it is International Roller Skating Rinks History© Bear with us as we change the entire site page by page each day. Thank you for understanding.
Second of all: The contents including words and photos above on this page and/or on any pages are purely educational entertainment purposes only. Rinks that are closed are considered dead. Rinks that are/were sold and with new management names new name(s), the former are considered dead. Previous operating rink that closed but came back years later, are considered dead because the reopening is considered rebooted, nothing to do with the former. Since we are rebooted to allow alive rinks, active rinks, we welcome those active rinks as well. It will be described.
As for “For Office Only” is for my reasoning and private legal reason for that.
