Dixie Roller Skating RInk South DIxie Hwy, Lima, OH. Brr! Sure cold out in that photograph! Nope, I did not see any snowmobiles. Haha. Hmm, no one plowed snow off the parking lot. Likely it was taken long after the rink closed. Source: Dixie Roller Skating Rink Facebook group.
Dixie Roller Skating RInk South DIxie Hwy, Lima, OH
Dixie Roller Skating RInk South DIxie Hwy, Lima, OH. This is all I found with the name on a Facebook page just for this rink. And just one photo. Very small group of members. Anyone know about this mysterious rink? Dates, anything? I got this from a list from 1990s. So, it was operational around that time and before that. But needs confirmation. No address available. This road is a long road and I am not sure where it was.
There is an obituary. Mark Jordan was a skater at this rink then when he was old enough, he managed the rink. He was a manager. Mark Jordan's parents, Harold K Jordan and Della Jordan owned the rink and it was closed due to a flood that warped the floor.
Thank you TJM for your information. Really helpful. Thank you so much!

Rinks that are closed are considered dead. Rinks that are/were sold and with new management names new name(s), the former are considered dead. Previous operating rink that closed but came back years later, are considered dead because the reopening is considered rebooted, nothing to do with the former.
As for “For Office Only” is for my reasoning and private legal reason for that.
