Courtesy of Shoppok. It showed the old rink already up for sale and already had storages there. You can notice in 2nd picture above that the rink floor appeared to be Maple or something else and it was in Fan pattern layout.
See rink on the left side of the picture near the racetrack? The credit explained it all in the picture. This was taken in 1950s.
Cuba Roller Rink, Cuba, NY
First of all, its not the country Cuba. It is a town in New York State just like Mexico, NY is. Anyway! Lakeview Roller Rink was in Cuba, New York. It may have been officially called Cuba Roller Rink. There is no solid proof of which name yet. However, it points more toward to Cuba Roller Rink. There are not much information at all but apparently an advertisement for the rink was up for sale (as written on Feb. 9, 2019). The seller did not mentioned any contact us information at all. He just said no emails however, the website only provides email! Go figure! It is not Craigslist though. It was Shoppok website. Go figure. It has two ads. One with the photo and the other not. This is quite sad with much less information.
Many rinks end up with same fate as this one without much information left on the internet.
There are no information available of start and end.
Rink Size: N/A Floor: Wood, oiled Floor layout: Fan
Building size: 10,000 Square Feet. It includes 3 bedrooms house attached to the building. This is quite awkward to have operator of the rink to live there. Built: N/A
Type of Building: Free Span Cinderblock walled Building.
Roof: Hip
Acres: N/A
Operated: N/A
Reason for Closure: N/A
Wanted: Photos, information including start to end. And wonder if this rink has had two names. Or was it different rink?
