Criss Cross Roller Skating & Entertainment Center at 12 North Creamery Avenue, Middleburg, Pennsylvania was a rink that was opened in 1983 according to Manta but they closed sometimes in 2010s I believe because of Yelp usually list operating businesses including rinks in 2000s and 2010s. On there, Yelp has the confirmation that it is closed. It is a church now. Faith Christian Fellowship is housed in the former roller rink and in fact, it mentioned the skating rink on their website.
I have a conflicting dates here. Manta did say 1983. Rink-Time said 1995. My friendly competitor said 1980. It is time for the Liars' Club to be aired. Which of those please stand up? You take the vote and choose which one is for real. If you can, email me here at Dead-Rinks and then can say which one. However, that church even mentioned the original name of the rink, Criss Cross which is true.
Another problem. Dun & Bradstreet said for Roller Haven, it was established in 2010!? It did not because it would be a conflict with Criss Cross! Roller Haven opened in 1983 after the auction.
Originally the rink was Starlight Roller Palace which was operated in 1980 to 1983 which was owned by Earnest, Betty, and his son, Richard Folk. Short lived. That is because it was seized and sold by the Sheriff's Auction perhaps for non-payments of property taxes. Then it became Roller Haven owned by Henry F. and Dorothy Royer after the owner bought the rink in the auction and opened that year until he closed and sold to the owners of Criss Cross rink in 1993. Criss Cross opened until around 2013. Chris Fetter owned Criss Cross. It ended there and it became a church as I mentioned earlier.
The Interior.
Poor quality of the photo but it appeared to be painted White on Wood or Concrete. I have no idea. The only photo I found has that Half-Wall in Navy Blue with Snow White top half of the wall with murals on it.
Of course, they had Diamond Ball (Disco Ball or Mirrored Ball) they hung on a white paneled ceiling and all Disco lights were standard tube lights but color lights though. Large speakers hanged in the middle of the Ceiling.
The murals appeared to be Stars and Clouds. I know that sounded awkward instead of saying Stars and Stripes. I do not know what rink business was this photo shown above is referred to.

Rinks that are closed are considered dead. Rinks that are/were sold and with new management names new name(s), the former are considered dead. Previous operating rink that closed but came back years later, are considered dead because the reopening is considered rebooted, nothing to do with the former.
As for “For Office Only” is for my reasoning and private legal reason for that.
