Coliseum Roller Rink Summit Street, Toledo, OH. Almost...almost a Firebird chicken wings seen on Pontiac Trans Am. I love this rendering of the winged skate than many others because they are so different and this interpretation showed more of a pair of bird wings rather than angelic wing set. Source: eBay. Copyrighted Digitally remastered by Dead-Rinks. Restored sticker from missing piece. and color repair.

Coliseum Roller Rink Summit Street, Toledo, OH
Coliseum Roller Rink at Ashland and Summit Street, Toledo, Ohio was the largest rink in that town. Not world's largest. Maybe the largest roller rink in Ohio at the time in 1905 when they first built on 13 July 1905.
According to WTOL 11, this reporter said the rink was being built and completed on 13 July 1905 at Ashland and Bancroft Streets in Toledo but the video said it was the Coliseum because of a newspaper clipping she found and reported it. It is different than the sticker which is a true proof of location. I looked on the Google Map. They were many blocks away from each other. This profile is for the one on Summit. Good question, right?
Interesting to note that this rink is not to be confused with another rink! And another! Yes, I am referring to the Willow Beach Roller Rink which is also on Summit Ave in Toledo!
