Courtesy of Loop Net. The one and only photo of Clarkville Skate rink is pictured. Same color as the church today. Literally.
Courtesy of Google Map. Currently River Valley Church of Christ. From wheels to spiritually needs. The appearance on the outside remains the same but changed sign and entirely new look inside. Too many pictures of people, hardly can see the inside where the rink was.
Clarksville Skate 1005 Interstate Dr, Clarksville, AR
Clarksville Skate was where this Christian church is now located at 1005 Interstate Drive, Clarksville, Arkansas. Google Map seemly for this state gets many places wrong. This one I knew where it was thanks to Google search. It mentioned a church at that address now and I found a Loop Net profile on this property. Google Map pointed at the gas station which is 2 doors away. Wrong! I knew the look of the rink although never been there, I trusted my gut and found it easily.
That is all I could find, no other information. Anyone know more about this rink, please by all means to let us know. When it first opened, closed, why closed, size of rink, the floor, any interesting information we should know about. Anything!
According to Loop Net, the rink was put up for sale in April 19, 2004 and was sold on or around June 30, 2004. It was only around for three years. That is sad.
The Interior.

The Exterior.
Gable roof Free-Span Steel Truss Steel-Walled Warehouse - like Building. Currently a church with Light Warm Gray with Royal Blue awnings over the right side where the entrance is. There are actually two of them. The other over a single window on the long side. This design is so similar and in fact the same concept as some of the rinks in this same state. Apparently was under same ownership / management.
They even had two party rooms.
