Central Arena Skating Center 2909 North Holland Sylvania Rd, Toledo, OH. This is the only known exterior available. Thanks to Loop Net. I do not know if they ever have anymore pictures. This was showing the rear. Not the front. I am sure Loop Net had them but when a business is sold, they usually remove them or leave just one photo. Anyone has better ones? Source: Loop Net.

Central Arena Skating Center 2909 North Holland Sylvania Rd, Toledo, OH
Central Arena Skating Center was located at 2909 North Holland Sylvania Road, Toledo, Ohio. This rink mysteriously disappeared. And the building was demolished in before 2007 thanks to Google Map historic picture of the new construction at the time of a new larger LA Fitness gym.
I have no information or history or anything regarding Central Arena Skating Center. Was it even Ice Rink? Anything? But I got was photograph, a bits of things too.
The rink was closed then it was sold to a billiard dealer selling pool tables. Then they relocated to another place and evidently, the billiard business sold it to LA Fitness to built new gym which is much larger.
This rink was once housed displaced tourists and some residents to stay at the roller rink due to the infamous Blizzard of 1978. No number of people were given but was said to be wall-to-wall for the rink that hosted people there to stay during the storm that dumped 14 inches or so. Power lines were down. No school for two weeks.
