Cedar Skate and Fun Center 912 N Airport Rd, Cedar City, UT. Taken in 2009. This was the rink during its hey days. No signs? That is odd during 2009.
Cedar Skate and Fun Center 912 N Airport Rd, Cedar City, UT
Cedar Skate and Fun Center was operational some time ago but they failed to provide information online. I have no idea. It may have been short lived. It was built in 2006 and closed within seven years.
The warehouse part according to Loop Net explained that it has 11,400 Square Feet however, for a skating rink, likely that was the case too. 11, 400 SF of skating rink but how wide was it? How deep?
The Interior.
Apparently no photos to be seen and make comments so, all I can say it was two stories likely just for the front. The rest were for just the rink. It is some counter top supplier store now.
There were a lot of windows up front.

I measured the building and it came to 96 feet wide. So, about 80 feet wide rink would be the norm for this facility. leaving 8 feet wide on each side. Or just 16 on one side.
The Exterior.
Gabled roofed Warehouse like with two stories. It apparently had offices and supply room upstairs or even balcony for parents and spectators watching skaters. I have no idea.
It is painted in Dark Camel color for front stucco. Rest were Steel sheet walls.
The Stats:
Rink Size: Likely 11,400 SF Floor: N/A. Floor Layout: N/A.
Building Size: 18,600 SF Built: 2006 Renovated: N/A. Demolished: Still standing.
Type of Building: Free Span Steel Truss Steel and Stucco Walled Warehouse Building. Two stories.
Roof: Gabled
Acres: 2.6800 Acres.
Organ: Likely none.
Operated: 2006 to October 2013.
Reason for Closure: N/A
Wanted: Information regarding photographs, both inside and out, dates, why closed. Anything? Rink size, building size...
