It looked exactly like the one seen but taller at Dorney Park in front of their roller rink also! Both have no relations whatsoever and it is just a surprise! Courtesy of Google.

It was first opened in 1902. For the rink and the tiny Kiddie Amusement Park.
In 1933, Thomas “Pop” Long (1885–1965) leased Bushkill Park, furnishing it with a hand-carved carousel that he and his father had purchased. Pop Long bought the park in 1939 and operated it for the rest of his life with his wife, Mabel "Mom" Long.
After his death, Mom operated it with Melvin Heavener until he died in 1986 and then alone until she died in 1989. Since 1989 there have been various owners, partners, and leasers of Bushkill Park.
The rink and park closed in 2004 due to flooding however, they had more flooding and rework to rebuilt after flood damages. They reopened for a season in 2006 but closed again for more damages and vandalism occurred. So, this time, from 2006 to 2017, 9 years without a skating rink and amusement park due to delays in funds and grants. But also change hands in ownerships and that delayed the opening until 2017 when they focused on the roller rink as a year round and they opened in January 2017 and the park itself on 6 of July 2017 and only the rink open year around. The park only opens during summer.
In mid-2019, Sammy Baurkot completed his acquisition and is now the sole owner of Bushkill Park and Grove.
Bushkill Park is famous for its antique rides such as bumper cars, "The Whip", "The Haunted Pretzel", and "The Bar'l of Fun." The park has operated two vintage carousels over the years, however, the carousel building collapsed in 2014. Bushkill Park is home to the America's oldest funhouse, Hilarity Hall (Bar’l of Fun).
Bushkill Park operated continuously for 102 years (103 summers) from 1902 to 2004 but they did not open for 2005 and during the summer of 2006 they reopened but closed it again until January 2017, when they reopened the roller skating rink after renovations.
The Interior.
Maple wood floor, full size according to the website and from photos although they had wood posts to support the roof in the middle of the wood floor. It was Step Log Cabin layout. The interior did change a bit although it was open air pavilion during summer but closed for winter although now, it is fully enclosured building. It was renovated just before January 2017 as part of sell off to the current owners of the park.
The Exterior.
Old photographs I recalled in my head but I do not have it since I saw it a long time ago before this website began that they closed due to disasters such as and mostly due to flooding. It was Fading Wood befroe they closed in the mid-2000s. They renovated for the opening in 2017 with Snow White and Navy Blue stripes vertically. It does appear real nice now. Really updated but freshing look.

Dead Rinks is now International Roller Skating Rinks History Foundation© because many former names have become new names at the same rinks that are still active and due to much confusion, We have decided that International Roller Skating Rinks History Foundation© fits better for all rinks including defunct, closed, inactive, rebooted, and rinks that are still active today. For short on this site, it is International Roller Skating Rinks History© Bear with us as we change the entire site page by page each day. Thank you for understanding.
Second of all: The contents including words and photos above on this page and/or on any pages are purely educational entertainment purposes only. All sources are shown on each page. All opinions and statements of mine are also stated and are for purely educational entertainment only.
Rinks that are closed are considered dead. Rinks that are/were sold and with new management names new name(s), the former are considered dead. Previous operating rink that closed but came back years later, are considered dead because the reopening is considered rebooted, nothing to do with the former. Since we are rebooted to allow alive rinks, active rinks, we welcome those active rinks as well. It will be described.
As for “For Office Only” is for my reasoning and private legal reason for that.
