Google Map 2012. This showed us this was taken in 2012 as TraXside because of the name is shown above the doors where the kids are walking in. I saw the 2007 version but it was bad photo of same appearance of building and color.
The Skate Barn 637 S Kane St, Burlington, WI
Burlington Skate Barn 637 S Kane St, Burlington, WI
TraXside (current) 637 S Kane St, Burlington, WI
This rink also had another name perhaps unofficial or nickname as The Skate Barn. It is situated right next to a railroad track in Burlington, Wisconsin. It is a Gable roofed warehouse style facility. It was opened in November 6, 1979. and closed sometimes in 2010s. This is why now the current rink is named TraXside because of the train tracks next to it. Trackside. X is Railroad on signs. And the current TraXside has several street signs on the wall. It is the theme of the rink. Like Skate Odyssey theme is space and Galaxy/Galaxie, whatever theme is also space as well.
I have no date for closing of The Barn. I just discovered Google Map showing in 2012 that it is TraXside. Clearly the Barn was closed in 2010 or 2011. (Updated Feb 12, 2020).
The rink originally had wood floor however the new owner who bought it has converted to concrete.
