Courtesy of Google Map. Currently a church. Nice fence I tell ya! A fresh of paint on the wall would be nice though. But God is good.
Bullrink 1370 Riverview Drive, Bullhead City, AZ
There is not a whole lot to say about Bullrink which was at 1370 Riverview Drive in Bullhead City, Arizona. This rink was held in a Gable roof Steel Sheet metal building out by the skirts of the desert in That town. It was built in 1980 but the rink was not established and opened till 1987. I have no date for closing.
But the building history had the last time sold on September 27, 2001 for 350,000 USD (Realty Trac).
Hardly much information about the rink business at all and more so about the building. Currently a Spanish-speaking church houses in the former rink. Dios los bendiga mucho mis hermanos y hermanas en Cristo.
Jose Jimenez owned the rink. He also owned a fitness center which was likely happened after the rink and another fitness center came in and left and now the church.
The Interior.
Looking inside where the church is now, older photos clearly gave away what kind of floor it was. It was clearly Blue coated poured Concrete slabs as a rink. I can tell that some of the floor has indentated or warped inward into the ground. That was bad so they did the floor again and now its all which appeared to be White Marble floor tiles. Beautiful floor!
They did pretty much renovated inside so there was no other evident of old rink appearance inside. It is all White walled around with white ceiling panels.
9,800 Square Feet was the size of the building which was not that big. It was on the smaller side of size.
The Exterior.
Gable roofed Free-Span Steel Truss Steel-Walled Warehouse - like Building sitting in industrial area on the outskirts by the desert which happens to be cross the street on the edge of town. Its original look is unknown but currently with Dark Tan color for a Spanish-speaking church which houses in the same building where the rink was.
