Courtesy of Dead-Rinks. Sorry image was not great when it was taken. I attempted to sharpened up and clean up but unable to do so with this one. The yellow sign stated, "Alabama Open House"
Google Map. Notiable differences. Can you spot them? This is a good one to tell the differences. OK, the answers are at bottom. There are 7 differences.
Bonhams Skate Galaxy 2501 Commerce Cir, Birmingham, AL
Bonhams Skate Galaxy was, in fact, as a technically, on 2501 Commerce Circle, Birmingham, Al but it should have been labeled as Tarrant, Alabama. I do not know why people have town names overlapping and mailing address as well. For example, using my example. I live in Liverpool, NY because the mailing address is Liverpool, NY but technically I am living in Galeville, a hamlet in the Town of Salina which also overlap with the City of Syracuse, NY. Weird, right? Yeah. OK, that is the case here with the name according to someone who emailed me today.
Then it became a Bingo hall then currently, a church.
I do not like that the rink/bingo/church being there because of those electromagnetic breakers behind the building as you can see in the photograph. Not good.
Built in 1993 by local businessman Ken Bonham. Ken Bonham and Kenneth H. Bonham both operated the rink. Not sure when it closed.
Very basic concessions and video games. Skate floor was almost completely walled in with corners rounded and thus hosted a TON of great roller hockey in the 90's.
Thanks to the skater who emailed me with the address, I was able to find more information. Loop Net was able to show that picture when it was a skating rink because of the date. It was created in February 2007 and it was sold on July 13, 2007. Apparently to the church for sure because Loop Net also keep records of realtor/real estate.
From Loop Net -- poor grammar in bold: 1st building is skating ring but would be good for warehouse. 2nd building is resturant of approx 2460 sq ft has all fixtures, & equipment. Haha, ring? Resturant? Rink and restaurant! I thought this was funny but no offense. Maybe she was trying to clue someone that she wants an engagement ring at a restaurant for Valentine's Day? Hmm? Hahaha.
So, the rink was from 1993 to 2007.
The Interior.
It had Clear Coated Polyurethane Maple wood floor for the rink. It had Steel Trusses against interior walls of Black-painted plywood.
The Exterior.
Red-Brick Bricks exterior walls all around making it very attractive appearance with Gable roof. It had steel trusses against interior walls of black-painted plywood.
The Stats:
Rink Size: N/A. Floor: Clear coated Polyurethane Maple. Floor Layout: N/A.
Building Size: N/A. Built: 1993. (2 buildings) Demolished: Still standing, as a church.
Type of Building: Free-Span Steel Truss Steel-Walled Warehouse - like Building.

Answer to riddle of differences in photos-- I believe that is a big Air Conditioning unit on ground, with yellow posts, a sign on corner, big sign that says BINGO, a new sign on door near BINGO sign. Then 4 small signs by the main doors that are for Handicapped parking only.
