Bill's Rink / Manahawkin Roller Rink / Froggers Fun Factory 712 East Bay Ave, Manahawkin, NJ. Someone said the cars were 1935 and later 30s models. From what I see, that person is right so that was when it was taken. Courtesy of Flickr / Bsouthj.
Bill's Rink / Manahawkin Roller Rink 657 E Bay Ave, Manahawkin, NJ. Children took break skating for this photo. Taken around 1930s. If any alive, they have to be age around 105 to 115 today. Courtesy of Flickr / Bsouthj.
Bill's Rink / Manahawkin Roller Rink 657 E Bay Ave, Manahawkin, NJ. Looks too perfect for 90 years old decals. I believe this is a reproduction. Courtesy of eBay.
Bill's Rink / Manahawkin Roller Rink 657 E Bay Ave, Manahawkin, NJ. This style of cartoon were popular from 1900 to 1935ish.. This appeared to be 1920s. This among with early Mickey Mouse, Felix the Cat, and others with this style of art of its day. It was called White Facing. Not mean to be racist however, that was what it was historically. Courtesy of eBay.

Bill's Rink and later, Manahawkin Roller Rink at 657 East Bay Avenue, Manahawkin, New Jersey. As for Bill's Rink, only found were decals. I do not have information on Bill's Rink so anyone know more about it, please let me know specific where on that street. The same questions and answers I seek for the Manahawkin RR. As for Manahawkin RR, the photo was only evident I could find.
That places Manahawkin RR closed and sold that year. As for Bill's stickers look so old. Looks 1920s to 1930s. The style looks belonging to that era however, the font looks too modern. So, it might be a fake but if the seller on eBay says that is what it was, then that is a good question. Anyone help me here?
According to Facebook post, it said that Little Bill operated Bill's Rink and Manahawkin Roller Rink.
Even on Flickr a photograph of kids stopped to have a photo taken of them when they were skating. Since their age and because it is around 1930s.. If they are alive, they are 90 something today.
The small room to your right when you came in, was where all the underaged kids smoked. That was the smoking room while the room to the left was the roller rink. It was quite small as you can see in the only known photo for now of the exterior. It was not a good picture because they did not show the rest of the building.
It was burned down not too long ago. In around 2006.
Interesting side note that this location is not far from the then future home in another plaza called Froggers Fun Factory which is also closed. In matter of fact, right directly cross the street! And was main competitor at the very end.
The Interior.
Bill's Rink: The floor clearly has to be wood since the photos in Flickr, Facebook. and the decals. Decor was likely rustic house since it was in a house like.
Manahawkin Roller Rink: The floor clearly has to be wood since the photos in Flickr, Facebook. Continuation of the same however, throughout the decades it operated until 2006, they had differnt themes or styles.
The Exterior.
Bill's Rink: It was all wood, stick built and likely they had posts in the middle of the rink. A tiny photo is not enough. They even had a porch.
Manahawkin Roller Rink: See Bill's rink for continuation. I am sure they updated throughout the years until it was burned down in 2006. Since it was 2006, I am surprised no other photos available online. Anybody?

Thank you for understanding.
Dead Rinks is now International Roller Skating Rinks History Foundation© because many former names have become new names at the same rinks that are still active and due to much confusion, We have decided that International Roller Skating Rinks History Foundation© fits better for all rinks including defunct, closed, inactive, rebooted, and rinks that are still active today. For short on this site, it is International Roller Skating Rinks History© Bear with us as we change the entire site page by page each day. Thank you for understanding.
Second of all: The contents including words and photos above on this page and/or on any pages are purely educational entertainment purposes only. All sources are shown on each page. All opinions and statements of mine are also stated and are for purely educational entertainment only.
Rinks that are closed are considered dead. Rinks that are/were sold and with new management names new name(s), the former are considered dead. Previous operating rink that closed but came back years later, are considered dead because the reopening is considered rebooted, nothing to do with the former. Since we are rebooted to allow alive rinks, active rinks, we welcome those active rinks as well. It will be described.
As for “For Office Only” is for my reasoning and private legal reason for that.
