Bethel Roll Arena 2969 Industrial Blvd., Bethel Park, PA. Many old rinks had those lighted boxes telling skaters what kind of skating are supposed to go with the music they are playing at the moment. Bright Yellow, Orange, and Red apparently was another theme they had at the time. Might be 1980s. I am not sure. Anybody? Source: Facebook group - Bethel Roller Rink.
Bethel Roll Arena 2969 Industrial Blvd., Bethel Park, PA. I love the interior décor colors of the 1970s. Yellow-Brown trim, and Orange. The ceiling has to be at least 11 feet 6" height according to Loop Net information. Source: Facebook group - Bethel Roller Rink.
Bethel Roll Arena 2969 Industrial Blvd., Bethel Park, PA. Yes, they had the bus. They used to pick up children from two areas a little out of way to go skating at Bethel Roll Arena. The bus appeared to be 1950s-60s. But taken in 60s or 70s. Source: Facebook group - Bethel Roller Rink.

Spinning Wheels Roller Rink 2969 Industrial Blvd., Bethel Park, PA
Bethel Roll Arena and Spinning Wheels Roller Rink were at 2969 Industrial Boulevard., Bethel Park, Pennsylvania.
Jim Abbott was the Manager and part owner of Bathal Roll Arena. I do not know who else was the owner of the rink. But I do not know who was the owner or owners of Spinning Wheels either.
I have no dates of opening nor closing.
Bethel Arena had an organ. But they replaced with Disco music when Disco craze was in and other rinks followed that pattern.
After Spinning closed, it became some industrial company then they closed in around 2016ish then by 2019ish, it is another company with white fence all around closing it off.
The Facebook group remembering the rink had a lot of pictures posted by a certain man, Frank Strazza and he even skated when he was not well. He passed away too young but went to be with the LORD. So this page is dedicated to Frank Strazza. God bless, Frank!
The Interior.
They had beautiful Hardwood Maple floor, non-painted.
Bethel Roll Arena: The interior was very patriotic. I am sure this was updated version and I am not sure about the version before that. Because someone on Facebook group said that Bethel Roll Arena was operating even in 1950s. If that was true they were opened in 1950s, then the appearance changed. Here I know are from the 1970s-80s look. They had popular colors of its time: Yellow, Orange, and Brown. Common colors of the 1960s-70s. But after that, patriotic mood sets in because of the American Bicentennial everywhere. Americana colors of Red-White-Blue stripes on walls. And other things there with those Americana colors.
The Concession Stand also act as Pro-Shop using the same counter. Effective I might say to have less people working behind the counter.
Spinning Wheels Roller Rink: They continued with the Americana colors of Red-White-Blue stripes on walls. And other things there with those Americana colors.
