Likely was a Google Map before demolishing. It showed the rink right on the right. I was mistaken for the one on the left. The left was a bowling alley. Both are defunct. The rink building was longer, slightly narrower than the bowling alley was. The rink building was demolished but the alley building still stands today according to Google Map. It would not go further back than 2012. It shows a real nice modern brick building and it is a fitness center two stories high. The photo is likely taken after the rink was closed for good because of the parking lot comparison between the bowling and the rink. It had a divider between the two entertainment centers.

Bay Shore Roller Rink, 1850 Sunrise Hwy, Bay Shore, Long Island, NY
Bayshore Roller Rink was a classical rink with arch and exposed beams supporting the arched roof. It first opened in 1961 by America on Wheels, the same ownership as Levittown. This rink was just at the intersection of a highway and a main road which makes it excellent commune for skaters to arrive at the rink. Levittown did the same thing. Some rinks did the same which makes it easy access from the highway to arrive.
It appeared to be a large rink. As said before, arched roof, typical design of 1950s roller rink with 1950s/1960s architecture. It was a Googie, not Google, architecture because of the wave for sunroof at the corner of the complex as it was for admission.
It also had 1950s diamond themed blocks by the admission on the side. Later they remodeled by add that 1950s/1960s Tiki roof look on the front facing the highway. See Ariel photo. Likely it had large windows, not sure.
They apparently added to make it slightly bigger and updated look.
Apparently by 2001, they closed for good and sat empty for years as evidence showed in photo above and on You Tube. Reports said it was torn down but the evident on Google Map says it still there. It says it is a sports shop.
