Courtesy of Spinz. They reopened on December 28, 2018. Again, Spinz says they are reopened again on March 9, 2019 according to their website. Must be they went through again another problem?

Originally it was Skatetown, USA and that rink ran for a time before it became Generations Skate Center. Then Sunshine Skates followed by Bamboozles Skating & Event Center and now, Spinz.
Bamboozles Skating and Event Center was a rink that ran until 2017. It had a very unique look. And the unusual name as well. Since this site is about roller rinks that are defunct, to be honest, Bamboozles was redressed into Spinz. They remodeled entirely into Spinz because of the hurricane Irma in 2017. They closed from September 10, 2017 and reopened as Spinz 16 months later, on December 28, 2018. The management are the same because of the cost of admissions, etc. are in the .99 instead of rounded to the Dollar. Foe example, admission to skate is 10.00 Dollars at any other rinks (depends on whom you talking about), but not at Bamboozles (and Spinz), they are in the penny less cost like any merchandise in any store you go to. Or even the infomercials that you buy for 19.99 or four easy payment of 19.99. You get the idea.
Again, Bamboozles was rebooted into Spinz because of closure and damages by hurricane Irma. Did they have good insurance company, likely they did compared to another rink that failed to get insurance money to repair the rink. Huge differences. (Again, forgot which rink that has this problem and I will find out and put the name on here). Any rink owners who have insurance problems, please do give Spinz a call and find out what insurance company they used and how they got their money. Must be the lawyers for Bamboozles-Spinz said to go out of business and reboot to get money. Wise business plan!
So, this page IS properly made for the previous rink that was damaged by the hurricane.
According to Spinz which is addressed at the same location, they claimed they opened in 2006.
Because many people said they were closed in 2017 according to Yelp and Spinz's facebook page, then I am posting this on this site.
The building itself was plain looking on the outside with blue stripe run around the building horizontally. It had the logo on one side of the front and the Skating and Event Center on the other side of the front. The building looked warehouse on the outside with gable roof and vertical aluminum sidings wrapped around the building. Typical for modern rinks in Post-Roller Disco era.
They had a huge parking lot on their property. It is in the warehouse and small business industry location of Fort Myers where Inventor Thomas Edison had his winter home (currently a museum and a must see for everyone!)
Now, for the inside, it looked very different than the outside. It was very colorful and very much of a fun house feel. The evident showed that it had the funhouse feel because of the colors of Green, Purple, Splash of Orange, and of course, Royal Blue (As an artist myself, I can tell what color hue each one is). But the carpet was very plain two tones of Cool Grey: Light and Dark. That carpet was not a matchable to the bold colors I just described. It should have been those neon colorful carpets that many modern updated rinks since 1990s have.
They did not have murals at all which is unlike many modern rinks I have seen except for one with the cars at a drive-in and next to it a martial artist skater.. (I forgot which the name of this rink! Ha!)
Then Bamboozles was meant to be for children with that theme of a funhouse. In fact, in the center of the rink, they have the DJ booth! This is quite unusual for modern rink that was opened in 2006 (according to Spinz). The DJ booth was very much crafted in a style of a funhouse/circus/field days feel.
The skate floor is, of course, Maple Wood, clear coated.
They have very neat looking area off the rink including snack bar, eating area, skate rental, and the arcade. See photos. This rink that has those colors are timeless and they are not tiring out. Since it was in 2006 they did this, and this is 2019 at the time of writing this, it would have lasted maybe a few more decades! That is how good it is but the new rebooted look, Spinz took all that away.
Likely it is same management because of the prices they used with the .99 methods.
