B & B Skating Palace was up for sale on Loopnet as of end of June 2019. This rink building was built in 1968 and ran the rink from 1980 till this year.
Unfortunately, it is closing. Or closed. Originally the exterior of the rink had that very 20th Century exterior look of that fast food burger chain Yellow and White stripes on gabled roof warehouse with steel sheets. It has very small parking lot. nearly 2 for every 1000 sq feet for such 12, 800 SF building.
Before that, it was King's Skating Palace.
They updated the exterior to beautiful popular Grey and Blue trim colors.
Interior:
The interior has unique look-parquet layout of Maple wood floor. It seems to be aged beyond its age because of a lot of scratches on the floor without thick plastic coating. It is sad.
The walls has American Patriotic colors of Americana Red-White-Blue colors. On the back end, it shows a 2-Dimension skate on the wall. There is a bit of what- on the half wall side inside the rink it says, "DO NOT RUN INTO" It did not say what it will run into what. What? You mean the wall? Or into other skaters? Or what?
Exterior:
Steel Free-Span Steel Walled Warehouse-like building. With Royal Blue trim and Light Cool Gray walls with front door on left side in front.
