Amcore Roller, Alexandria, MN
This rink has not much to show. All I got were websites saying when it was opened (see sources) and the address pointed to a residence. It was not a rink there. Just perhaps where the owner lived or is still living. The street is not shown above at all because all I got were his residence. Even in White Pages online! It even pinpointed on Google Map. But it is pointed ON the street, not a building.
This brings to a question, was it just about to start a business somewhere else? When you start a new business, you always have to register at the county clerk office with your residence, not where the new business is located. It is always at residence first then when you have a new business, then your mail, business cards, and such are at your business location. I think this is what happened.
Therefore, there were NO rink located. This is a start up that failed before a footprint at a new location. Likely that was the case.
There are no photos either. So, this was ghosted. It was established in 2004 by Brain Randin. It was listed as assumed name and already been dissolved.
Rink Size: N/A Floor: N/A Floor Layout: N/A
Building Size: N/A Built: N/A
Type of Building: N/A
Roof: N/A
Operated: Filed on May 10, 2004.
Reason for Closure: Assumed name, dissolved before rink was actually opened?
Wanted: Information regarding actual location of the rink if he did have it opened, why closed? If there was rink, photos?
